✈️ Freight News | Xiamen Launches Direct All-Cargo Route to Davao, Philippines

On May 7, XIAMEN IPORT GROUP together with Xiamen International Airport and Tianjin Air Cargo, launched Fujian’s first direct all-cargo flight from Xiamen to Davao, Philippines.

This marks a key step in XIAMEN IPORT GROUP’s ongoing expansion of its air cargo network in Southeast Asia as a state-owned enterprise.

The inaugural flight was operated by a B737-800 freighter, carrying a full load of electronic products and departing smoothly.

The operation ran smoothly with strong support, laying a solid foundation for the route’s future regular and scaled operations.

As an important aviation hub along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Xiamen Airport adds another direct cargo route between Xiamen and the Philippines, following the Xiamen–Clark cargo route.

The launch of this route will significantly reduce transit links and shorten logistics time, providing a more efficient air logistics channel for cross-border e-commerce and foreign trade enterprises.

Going forward, XIAMEN IPORT GROUP will deepen strategic cooperation with Tianjin Air Cargo and continue expanding its network in the Philippines. Starting from May, it will gradually add cargo routes from Xiamen to Cebu, Manila, Clark, and other key cities, building a two-way air cargo network between Xiamen and the Philippines, and developing a high-quality “Xiamen–Philippines air cargo corridor” to support bilateral trade flows.
