On April 11, a freighter carrying 50 tonnes of e-commerce cargo departed from Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport and flew directly to Liege Airport in Belgium, marking the official launch of a scheduled international cargo route to Liège operated by My Freighter Airlines.
The route is operated by a B767 freighter and transports cargo including clothing and casual sports shoes. The launch of this service is an important step in Shijiazhuang Airport’s efforts to advance opening-up policies and improve China–Europe air cargo connectivity.
The new route further enhances the airport’s international cargo network and provides a stable cross-border logistics channel between Hebei Province and Western Europe.
As of now, Shijiazhuang Airport operates five regular international cargo routes to Tokyo, Osaka, Moscow, Ostrava, and Liège, covering Northeast Asia, Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, and Western Europe.
